When moving into a Frederick Douglas home, tenants can relax safe in the knowledge that the property has been comprehensively checked for any issues and a full inventory and schedule of condition is conducted to protect the tenants bond deposit.

The Frederick Douglas Complaints Procedure has been structured to ensure that any concerns are dealt with as quickly and efficiently as possible. Please follow this process: Stage 1. Speak to the negotiator / manager who was initially been dealing with the issue. We receive very few complaints, however we understand that sometimes things can occasionally go wrong. In order that your concerns are addressed as efficiently as possible we ask that you first raise the issues verbally with the negotiator / manager who is fully aware of the situation. If you are not satisfied with the response you can proceed to the next step. If the issue has still not been resolved the next step is. 2. Write to the Director Your complaint will be acknowledged within three working days of receipt and an investigation undertaken. The investigation will include how it has been handled to date, which may include further investigations into the background of your concerns. A formal written outcome of the investigation will be sent to you within 15 working days. Following the Frederick Douglas Director investigation, a written statement expressing Frederick Douglas's final view will be sent to you. This will include any offer made. This letter will confirm that you are entitled if dissatisfied to refer the matter to www.ombudsman-services.org within six months for a review.
